Agastya Kalra is a Senior Staff Engineer at Intrinsic, an Alphabet company, where he focuses on scaling robotic perception technologies. His research interests lie on the intersections of computational imaging, multi-view geometry and deep learning, where he has published multiple papers at CVPR / ICCV / Siggraph on topics such as polarization, pose estimation, 3D reconstruction and camera calibration. Previously, as a founding member and Principal Engineer at Akasha Imaging (acq. 2022), he spearheaded the development of a multi-modal 3D camera system that is now being piloted in automotive manufacturing as part of the Alphabet ecosystem.
